Sofia Panchuk, Sammamish HS / Bellevue, WA.
Panchuk collected a pair of victories last week, winning 18 sets while only losing one. She was also 1-1 in doubles play. This is the Bellevue freshman's second Athlete of the Week selection. Panchuk is 4-0 in league #1 singles play. She also went 3-0 against four-year programs.
"Sofia is playing excellent tennis at the right time, said Bulldog head coach Jason Chapman. "She is an exciting player and we are looking forward to seeing how she does at the NWAC Tournament. Also she is such a great team player and we love having her on the team"
