In 6 sets last week, Russell helped top-ranked and undefeated Spokane to convincing wins over Big Bend and Columbia Basin. She has been an integral piece on the court as Spokane has only lost 5 sets in 29 matches.
Russell had 26 kills on a 69.4% hitting efficiency, 5 blocks and a pair of aces in the two matches.
"McKenna led the team with 26 kills this week, as a middle," said Sasquatch head coach Jenni Hull. "Not only did she have 26 kills, she also only committed one error. At one point in the Big Bend match she was 9 for 9. She is a great weapon in the middle."
