Mott named 2018 Baden Softball Player of the Year

With a record of 29-1, Mott, the East Region MVP, led the league in wins and posted a conference second best ERA of 2.08 and was second in strikeouts with 208 Ks on the season. When she wasn’t on the mound, Mott was creating havoc against opposing pitchers with her .432 batting average. She blasted 15 homers (10th best in the conference) and 66 RBIs (12th best). The talented freshman was named to the NWAC NFCA All-American team and she was named Championship Tournament MVP after leading NIC to the 2018 conference title.
