LOWER COLUMBIA - SOPHOMORE - PITCHER/UTILITY
Taylor Davis, Todd Beamer HS / Federal Way, WA, appeared in five LCC wins over the week. In 18 at bats he had 9 hits including a double and a homer to tally 11 RBIs and 5 runs and a stolen base. He also helped on the mound collecting a 5 inning win allowing no runs.
Davis in now #2 in the NWAC in pitching wins (5). He is second on LCC's roster in batting average (.370) and third in RBIs (18).

Click to enlarge imageYakima Valley sophomore Hunter Boyd, Moses Lake HS / Moses Lake, WA, was named Pitcher of the Week. He pitched a 9 inning shutout over Spokane allowing no runs on 5 hits and 8 strikeouts.
Boyd is currently #2 in the league in strikeouts with 52.
