2018 Baden NWAC Cross Country Athletes of the Year

Spokane sophomore Micaela Kostecka, Mt. Spokane HS/Spokane, WA., the 2017 XC championship runner-up, took the 2018 Women's cross country championship individual title by a 12 second margin (18:24) over 2017 champion Delia DeLeon. She also helped lead the Sasquatch to their sixth consecutive women's title and 18th in program history. Kostecka has signed to run for NCAA Div II Western Washington University next season.
ANDY MUHA • SOPHOMORE • LANE
Lane sophomore Andy Muha, Sunset HS/ Beaverton, OR., turned in a time of 25:28.00 to claim the 2018 Men's Cross Country Title. Muha, the 2017 men's champion, won the race by 11 seconds and helped lead the Titans to their third consecutive team title. Muha is currently considering several four-year colleges for the 2019 season.
